Shout at the Devil

The cognitive dissonance is wild: one moment they are having silly bickering and comical bamboozling, and the next you gets dozens and dozens of locals killed because of the main characters, and it's not even mentioned again. You can tell yourself it's period racism, but it's hard to see the heroism when taking so much collateral damage so indifferently. The bad guy is like a cartoon villain, cold murderer too, to add to the iffy mix between drama and comedy. Overall felt too long too

"Shout at the Devil"' is an expansive adventure film that just ends up feeling too long.
