Sort of like a bedroom farce without steam. Old Conway Tearle falls for teenager Mary Carlisle. The problem is that Carlisle mother Alice Brady is in love the same man since years passed. And to top it off the aunt Katharine Alexander is his current lover! And in the middle of all these lovesick hens is grumpy old Lionel Barrymore as the head of the family. A comedy all childish and exaggerated with a dramatic touch. There are funny stuff here without nailing the gags completely.
