Short Draft

The photography is great and the overall vibe captivating. The acting of the two leads is also good, and despite an aura of familiarity "Short Draft" finds its comedic marks quite comfortably. However, the direct Quentin Tarantino references were a bit too smartass for my taste (it's not like the QT influence had to be uttered via literally reciting his filmography), and worst of all the female character is a puzzling addition that leads the film to an unsatisfactory, borderline lazy conclusion.
