Ship Cafe

The final film of the Danish charmer Carl Brisson. Ship Cafe (1935) was a big step down. for him. No chemistry with his leading lady, Arline Judge, songs boring, plot lame, and Brisson was did not fit the unsophisticated character he was supposed to play. He was naturally elegant. No wonder this tanked his movie career. There are amusing bits and it'll pass the time, but it did no favors for it's leading man.
