One of those toned down cozy countryside dramas Britain is known for. While the things that happened in this story were dramatic for the characters, it didn't feel dramatic for the viewer. And that's where it fails. Doesn't mean there isn't enjoyment to be had, and its cool to see a leading role for David Farrar in this minor picture while he was still establishing himself in the movie industry. His first lead, in fact.
