She Will

I wish she hadn't.

Pretty and dull. Characters were too shallow for me care much about their motivations, and the story has been told many times before.

Interesting if not entirely successful character study bears a striking resemblance to SPENCER in its portrait of a woman dealing with past and present demons in a setting which may or may not be imagined - this lacks a satisfying follow through, but it is still largely absorbing, thanks to Krige's commanding lead, and one of the best recent uses of McDowell which plays into his decades-old film persona while giving him an effectively creepy present-day character to work with.

I immediately decided to watch She Will because the producer was Dario Argento and the title of the movie reminded me of Ghost songs, and I'm glad I did. This wonderful horror film, with its visual aesthetics and cold atmosphere, drew me in so much that I didn't understand how I got to the end. A wonderful tale of witchcraft and revenge in the Scottish countryside.

The film is engrossing and empowering, reimagining stories depicting women accused of witchcraft in a way that's still haunting. The film’s strong unity of tone and aesthetic, combined with the fantastic lead performance by Alice Krige, make it a must-watch for horror fans.

Not bad but not many horror elements which is what interested me in the first place

I like what I think the movie wants to do. In a way it seems a typical debut directing feature by a photographer with a lifetime of ideas; images images images, on their own often effective, just not always serving the fairly straightforward story's best interests. You can't go half Hadžihalilović.

Too many dreamy sequences. Its ok movie but got bored by it.
