Brian Gates, Freddie's son, has a low-approval-rating and a high dislike for jazz music and refuses board ship with the band on board. An mid-30s American styled musical UK-style! The light format, made even more lightweight by it's Britishness. Quota quickie quality with absolutely dreadful comic relief and a personality-free novelty star in real life bandleader Jack Hylton playing himself! The one bright spot was American actress June Clyde, giving it her best with the mediocre material she was given. But even with her efforts and a ton of special acts this musical falls almost flat on it's ass!
