She Asked for It

Not a convincing start, much due to the leading lady Orien Heyward not being very good. Her only credited role, and her last. She only appeared in a bit part in one other picture, both box office failures. She decided marriage and family life was a better option than Hollywood, and I'm grateful. Her chemistry was not working with William Gargan. That's why the quality increased greatly when the film instead focused on Gargan and his mystery. So the film got good toward the end.
