This The Three Mesquiteers entry became interesting because of Bob Steele playing dual parts, mainly the a Tocson look-a-live baddie. Steele is so much better at playing nasty characters. Unfortunately he was the hero most of his career. It was mainly when he'd appear in a major picture he was the ultimate heel. Like in Of Mice and Men (1939) or The Big Sleep (1946). And you get a taste of it here, which was a welcome twist for a Mesquiteers flick.
