Shabondama Elegy

Has some interesting ideas, but on the whole I found the experimental digital techniques to be messy and grating. Kaganof could very well have been going for something anti-aesthetic, but even that is an aesthetic. Of interest is a short cameo from Hisayasu Sato and an okay soundtrack from the usually top-notch Otomo Yoshihide.

The acting was okay I guess, it was hard to tell due to the soddy, maybe purposefully so, direction, camerawork, and editing. I found little to like here.
