Sgt. Kabukiman N.Y.P.D.

Classic Troma. If you're a fan of the Toxic Avenger movies, this is very similar to those. Same style of humor and the same over-the-top gore as those movies have. Some parts are weak, and I'm probably scoring this a bit too high because I'm a sucker for the absurd. Still, you might dig it.

I have no words. This is in the spirit of the best (worst) of the Tromaville flicks. Horrible acting, worse special effects, ridiculous makeup and a plot that makes absolutely no sense on any reasonable level. Wow.

Like many other troma films, only worth watching if you're watching to make fun of it, or perhaps if you're crazy enough to find this kind of plot entertaining, and don't care about it being a b-movie.

Uncle Lloyd's failed attempt at creating a new franchise and crossing further over into mainstream territory made at the height of Troma's popularity and with their largest budget. Conflicts between Kaufman and the Japanese producers are clearly evident, and it is baffling why they saw a potential series based on this rather bizarre concept. Nonetheless, while the humour is hit and miss, Gianasi is amiably goofy without overdoing it, and Byun is funny and cute.

Goofy, dumb and utterly hilarious.

Gets way too silly while trying too hard to be funny, but even then the weirdness of it all can be appreciated. The ending is total dynamite.

Not only is Kabukiman a great superhero, he's a hell of a cop too. And then he gets even better when he gets a monkey for a partner! Classic Troma!

A movie you start watching because the disclaimer promised nudity, then some guy turns into a Kabuki, you shake your head, turn it off and go to bed.

Yes, I'm really giving this a 60. But I love cop movies, and the over the top humor in this really works for me for some reason.

I like Toxic Avenger, but this movie is hopeless. Feels like the jokes are written by a giggling 12 year old.

wierd. creepy. lil bit to boring toward the (too long!) end. GENIOUS!
