Sex and the Teenage Mind

I can't believe I'm saying this, but I was surprised. In a good way. This is by no means great, but the DVD cover & tagline make it seem a hell of a lot worse than it actually is. The performances aren't bad, Lange's character is written pretty well for the most part, & the story- while tropey- also does some things differently. What doesn't work so much is most of the humor, the vague homophobia, & out of nowhere ending that feels like it's setting up a different movie. Fun to see Dee Wallace.

I honestly wanted to kill every single character in this film.
