Egoyan back to his weirdo perverted/voyeuristic self. He never entirely lost it but this feels like a great continuation of his earlier work. Seyfried needs to be in better roles like this instead of wasting her talents on movies that you always skip over on any streaming service/VOD. Line up her last 15 roles and all the posters scream 8 people have watched this on starz+

It was amazing to experience Seven Veils in the cinema. Egoyan added a completely different dimension to Salome. The traumatic impact of harassment on a woman and the psychological impact of toxic masculinity are reinterpreted by evolving into art. The visuals and music of the film are fascinating.
