This film is far more enjoyable if you pretend that Nicolas Cage is on PCP in every scene.

While completely nonsense, the movie isn't half bad actually.

Sure it's dumb, but it's actually kind of entertaining to watch if you don't think about it too much.

An average flick. Nothing too interesting going on. Just your run of the mill good guy that has to go rogue.

Quite a nifty revenge movie that manages to remain intelligent for most of the journey. The pieces add together, and the twists are reasonable. Pearce, Cage and Jones hold it together and all show decent range for their characters. Uses New Orleans effectively. Bonus points for Tdog.

This uninspired piece of hackwork is like processed chicken wings. It won't be remembered for long but it should sate those piggish for a competently made, blanket meal. A meal you'll be full of well before it's over.

Interesting idea and system, but simply to easy execution and bit obvious course of events.

This movie is not the cheesy action movie that you might expect. On the contrary it is more of a drama and thriller. There is nothing really exciting about the script, it is average in every way. Overall this is a very average movie that does not stand out in anyway.

OK distraction with characters doing illogical things to further the story. Twists were type that sort of insults one's intelligence. Still, OK when you want to pass the time and not think much. I've seen hundreds of movies worse but forget it if looking for something more than a superficial thriller

This is one of Cage's better and more overlooked offerings in the last few years. I was thrilled to see the obtuse actor harness his cooky persona and deliver a far more restrained performance than we've seen from him in quite some time. 'Seeking Justice' simply comes off as a prime cable TV thriller, and not much more, but for my money---it was still entertaining.

Nick Cage has been pumping out these random action/thrillers for a while now, sometimes he hits, sometimes his misses, but they're hardly ever bad. This one is of a lesser caliber than most, which is hard to say with Guy Pearce in it. The great thing about these second rate action movies that star Nick Cage is that even if it's kind of crappy, I'm still surprised at how good it is.

I liked it, a good tense thriller, with a good story. But the plot turns out tooooooo much exaggerated at the end. If they didn't overdo it at the end it would have had a much higher score and it would have been excellent.

"The film's tossed-off look and clunky editorial construction are still secondary to the sheer silliness of its story." - Nick Schager

The problem is not Nic Cage -- really. He's a campy actor, we just have to live with this and expect he brings some irony into his roles. Here is the thing: this is a serious film about a New Orleans-based justice organization of angry men willing to clean the city by killing the bad guys. If Tony Scott had directed it, I would've probably loved the film. Donaldson squeezes, but just can't get any thrill or decent surprise from the plot. That's too bad.

Another movie set in New Orleans, of course Cage has to play in it. There's is so much hate for Cage, I believe the reviews are very biased. I actually quite enjoyed it, and yes, the first 10 minutes or so are horrible actingwise, but once the story start picking up its pace, it is very entertaining.

Just... no. Cage is (almost) never convincing as a regular, decent guy - and this is no exception. After the completely unbelievable twist, Cage suddenly becomes a vengeful expert detective - at which points he (of course) excels. But still: just... no.

More further you'll go with the story, worse it'll be. I've never expected anything good from Nicolas Cage, but I was interested this because of Jennifer Carpenter (wife of Dexter) and specially January Jones. Unfortunately girls' got not much of screen time. I was pleased with the part of January. Thin character, but nice performance.
