Secrets of a Secretary

A fine Claudette Colbert film. Perhaps a bit too far fetched on a few matters, but they throw in enough angles to keep it entertaining and that's all that matters in these kinds of programmer productions. Georges Metaxa for his first movie role gets a significant part as a gigolo. An early American role for the gentle gentleman Herbert Marshall. And the first talkie for Mary Boland who probable was the most effective character doing her trademark whimsical lady of society bit to perfection.
