Secrets of Counter-Espionage

With the war over, so comes the Soviet WWII spy thrillers. And with this being the first, Boris Barnet was on to a box office winner, with this being among the highest grossing film of the year. The end comes abruptly, but it builds-up rather nicely. Can't say it reaches any massive peaks in the suspense department, but there is a certain confidence going on with the story as if they felt they didn't need to attach any additional thrills to fool the audience.
