Sweet finalé from Mary Pickford. Her role here was totally opposite compared to her previous role as Kiki (1931) where she was screaming and falling over everywhere. Here she was clam and dignified. And that suits her so much better when she can play off her cuteness. The story did seem only half told and they rushed over so much of the marriage with Leslie Howard and the drama and secrets in it. Regardless Pickford did well in her last performance even if the actual movie was missing a lot.
