A vast high heap of Freudian manure.

The only reason this isn't a complete failure is because it was obviously meant to exploit Ekberg's looks &, despite a now woefully unimpressive dance routine (that it makes us watch twice), it manages to at least accomplish that. The idea of a psychiatrist sneaking his hot client out of the asylum isn't a bad start to a film noir story either. But the wrap up to the mystery is so nonsensical & unsatisfying, the hardest thing to believe is that this script was based on a published book.
