Scavengers

Points for the worldbuilding efforts, and the hardest they tried with the low budget. But the acting is just painful. Maybe other people could have made it work better, maybe better CGI as well. All along I wondered if the other unknown actors were staring at the guy doing his Jekel bit, wondering if this was truly as shit as they thought it was, or if they were too newb to get it

Take the epic space battles and feeling of vastness from Battlestar Galactica, the easy going camaraderie of Firefly (and the costumes) and add a splash of that weird bit in 2001 and then suck out all the charm, intrigue, action and entertainment and you are left with Scavengers. The acting is wooden and awful, the audio is too quiet, the story is very simple but they've padded it out with extraneous shit which feels unnecessary.
