Scanners III: The Takeover

This goes a bit more nutso which is wholly necessary with a vehicle like this. The scanning is mostly just actors wincing and it's often treated like a parlor trick. I don't know what I'd do if I could scan but it wouldn't be making an o-face while gyrating against a fence so that I could make a guy dive into an empty pool. But that's why nobody wants to read my scripts!

The only explanation for these extremely low scores is misunderstanding. It's actually a very self-conscious action/comedy, and there are plenty of shots and scenes to prove it. And some of the comedic moments are really good. Let me just say that if this movie was made in Hong Kong, it would've been very successful and everyone would understand what was being done.
