Saving Grace

Wasn't too bad, but the horrible happy ending really dragged down my opinion of the whole thing.

This is an adorably silly movie, and quite enjoyable if you don't take it too seriously.

I love this sweet little story. All of the characters, actors and the whole town is charming. Yet the out of nowhere ending is beyond stupid.

there is no dismembering of all the parts that make the whole for this movie. not for this one. craig ferguson's script is funny, charming and honest as he is and always was. a beautiful, naive movie that despite all of its flaws, ends up being a magnificent experience. fuck reviewing films for their worth in intelligence; this one has more than enough heart to make up for it.

Charming but harmless.

Nothing really exceptional. Some funny moments and some good characters. Like Falooza said, "adorably silly."

Sort of like Weeds, except without the dark underbelly. I'm a big fan of Ferguson (I've read his novel several times, and watch the Late Late Show as often as I can), so I may be a bit biased, but this is a largely enjoyable film with a very funny script and some charming lead performances. It's no great film, but it certainly entertains. Even my anti-pot high school principal mom liked it, so take that for what it's worth.

A stupid little thing that is both charming & delightful. A confirmed pot smoker will like it even more i suppose. A pleasure to see somewhat strong women characters.

Brilliant comedy that is genuinely funny, yet takes the time to paint some believable characters.

Meh.
