What a pile of shit this movie is, no wonder it's pretty much forgotten. The Arliss character is such a little bastard that I wanted to beat his ass myself and while I knew it wouldn't happen I hoped the Indians (which were poorly portrayed) would hurry up and kill him. All the thing that made Old Yeller a classic are missing here. It does get slightly better in the second half when the Arliss character is off screne through most of the rest of the movie
