Sally, Irene and Mary

I'd already seen the 1938 sound remake, which didn't work. I'm a little torn on the 1925 silent version as well, but it definitely has more things going for it. Including a young Joan Crawford. Humor was better too, and as a silent it didn't have the handicap of coming up with memorable songs, that's where the sound version failed big. On top of that, this is one where William Haines doesn't come across as a total asshole. So yeah, a lot more positives for the original.
