This is a film about death. The film jumps around quite a bit with no real structure. The only constant is that the main character is always surrounded by and obsessed by death. It's kind of slow but has some good ideas that are never really explored, definitely a missed opportunity.

Pure madness. Just pure, entertaining madness and surrealism. One of my all-time favourites.

Like all Ki-young Kim's films it starts promising but ends up being very unsatisfying. Whenever it's getting weird it's simply great with skeletons changing into hot girls, beheaded corpses and stuff like that. But rest of the film is awful overacted melodrama that reminds me of worst South American telenovelas. Throughout half of the film I just wished to fast-forward it. I guess I'm done with you Mr. Kim, not gonna fall for another tasty synopsis of your intriguing but wasted works.
