The daughter of a stingy Scotsman and the son of a shady Irishman want to get married.... so that fathers clash in a series of questionable money ventures. Light and amusing quota quickie with a bunch of decent comedians which didn't get to do that many movies (for several this was their only one). Biggest name was Will Fyffe, plus this is a very rare chance to see Broadway star Will Mahoney in action. The two dads had good chemistry in this one making the most out of a basic comedy script.
