The adventure film The Man of a Hundred Swords (1951), directed by Ilmari Unho and written by Simo Penttilä, takes place in 1634, when the 30-year war is still raging in Europe. Finnish swashbuckler! Quite fun a lot of the time. Get a sense this was targeting a younger audience. They were at least very broad and seemed to have good time with this project. A little hard at times to feel 100% engaged in the story, but it was more enjoyable than I first expected.
