During their visit, the couple discover dark secrets from Isaac's past. The movie aims at generating a lovecraftian tone, but the it never quite manages to achieve it. The main character is utterly unlikeable from the start, which makes feeling sorry for him almost impossible. The use of colored lighting felt gratuitous and distracting. Barbara Crampton is as beautiful as ever. SPOILER: if you found this movie expecting to actually see some ancient water monsters, let me tell you that you'll be very much disappointed. It's hinted at, but never shown.
