Sacco and Vanzetti

Gets heated, the way Italians like it, but otherwise much more realistic than most legal procedural films (Italians like that too). And while politically charged and sympathetic to its subjects, it's a rather straightforward telling of the scandalous true story. Montaldo's presentation seems generally honest, well-crafted and certainly vivid. I do wonder whether it might have been better for him to film this in English, in keeping with the Massachusetts setting.

Great piece of agitprop; should be mandatory viewing.

The movie shows how US, criminilized, socialist,anarchists,communist that easly in 1920's

So scary, that if this wasn't a true story, you would think it was ridiculous.

some parts shot really well with good vision, other times the courtroom drama is a bit hamfisted.
