Så var det jul igjen

This has a low score on Letterboxd, so I was surprised how much I enjoyed it. Sure, it feels like it could've been released 10 years ago, but I don't think the cultural differences have vanished or should they be treated as taboo nor what makes the film so offensive. Main characters are sympathetic and there are some apt observations such as the church scene which rang true to someone from the Nordics. The snowy setting and cozy country house help make this a pleasant watch for holiday season.
