Third film in a row with charismatic Rogelio de la Rosa and his likable singing voice. Highest paid star in the Philippines around the time this films was made, who later used his popularity to enter politics, becoming a Senator. In this film rivals Armando Goyena, who plays his brother in the picture, fighting for the heart of their adopted sister. Adds a little Japanese culture, while the lady sings in a very operatic voice adding class. It's okay, but still on the simple side production wise.
