Viewed October 29, 2021. One of those rare biopics that genuinely feels like a portrait of a life lived without ever resorting to histrionics or moments of tragedy and triumph.

Basically a life story. One of a woman wanting to rise in a man's world. Well, not really by today's standard, but in a way that was its aim. This is a total Rosalind Russell picture. Dominant and bubbly as only she could be. I liked it best for the positive spirit. Even when life is tough, she finds a reason to stay strong.
