I guess I find Antonio Gil Varela 'Varillas' too corny to really appreciate his films. Even in a lovable role as a fool trying to become a bullfighter to impress a girl his expressions are too goofy to make the whole scenario come together. Had some moments, but ultimately a mild letdown.
