Rosa de Madrid

A very modern film compared to a lot of other Spanish silent films I've watched recently. One that triggers heavily to the female sense of being taken advantage of, gossip, a dash of fashion and general females doing stereotypical female stuff. For what's a semi-hard drama, the feel of the movie is surprisingly cheerful. But I guess that's part of it's modern nature of more independent women until reality strikes them, that love can't be trusted.
