This is a 1939 macho movie (I guess, loosely) based on Jack London's novel The White Silence. Provides quite a bit of both drama and disaster, though not always as focused as it could have been. Nonetheless, Charles Bickford was always reliable in these types of fairs, same with Jean Parker as a B-movie sweety. So along with a action filled climax, Romance of the Redwoods (1939) provides enough of everything to be likable adventure.
