Cheap Sam Newfield western starring a guy with a familiar name to at least a couple of other known actors, Bill Boyd, with the nickname "Cowboy Rambler". He did 6 westerns for PRC in 1942 and that was it. However he was a fairly successful recording before and after his brief and unsuccessful stint in Hollywood. As a actor he was dull. Even the songs provided here were dull. And that sums up the experience Rolling Down the Great Divide (1942) provided.
