Immensely far from terrific. The true story aspect of this comes off as a tedious and never manages to bring something worthwhile or psychological interesting about the horrific subject. The present day framing with Keri.R's character adds nothing, and her narration just reminds me of Felicity and disconnects even more from the story told. *Preview*: #14#, story, Keri.R!/7.

Ambitious -- and admirably steering well clear of outright exploitation terrain -- but almost fatally flawed in execution. Framing the entire story with Keri Russell's character adds absolutely nothing and completely undermines its own subtextual aims. With a more sensible script and a less arrogant insistence on padding this out to feature length, this could've been an unnervingly poignant little film.

Even disregarding the pointless tacked-on frame story, "Grimm Love" is a remarkably uninsightful, artless and insipid telling of the Armin Meiwes/Bernd Brandes affair. If you just read the wikipedia entry, it'll be both a quicker and far more memorable means to the same end.

The framing device is unnecessary and clunky, and it is absurd to think that this does not exploit for the purposes of profit the real-life events on which it is based, but it does still manage to build a certain amount of emotional intensity, after a fairly tedious first hour.

A movie about a stupid pervert. Nothing special at all. The penis scene is hardcore.

Przez pierwsza godzine niesamowicie przecietny film. Nudny, zle zagrany i glupi (troche przesadzam, ale...). Ratuje go nieco koncowa czesc (20 minut). Calosc jest moze i ambitna, ale rezyserowi zabraklo doswiadczenia i umiejetnosci by przelac swoja wizje na ekran. Nie polecam i nie odradzam.
