Robowar

Could've been worse, and I mean that as a complaint. There's so much walking. So. Much. Walking. The creature can't camouflage or won't but that's barely relevant when every one of the humans stand as far out in the open as conceivably possible. What if Predator was the Terminator was a pretty stupid question to begin with. The fact that they throw in The Evil Dead at the end is another slice of what was happening during production?

Shitty Predator knockoff which features a team of doofus mercenaries who plunge into an unnamed jungle to contain a military cyborg that has gone haywire and started butchering people with its laser cannon. It features the same POV shots as Predator, but the images are such grainy, pixelated messes that it's a wonder the cyborg can move, let alone lock on targets. 90 minutes of wretched actors shooting machine guns at bushes.

I rewatched this a couple of times over a few nights since I kept losing interest. Well, at the end of all 3 watches, I can definitively say I still don't get it. The beginning commando combat stuff was fun enough, though it falls into the trap of seasoned operators who still have to be given individual commands like children. The robot was lame and the pixelated effects were tiresome. The biggest sin of this film is that it makes a killer robot boring. Fav scene: final chase to the beach.

More predator than Robocop but I get the mash-up. The soundtrack to this does not fit at all and was more annoying than anything else. As nonsensical as this was it was surprisingly boring.

B Movie wise.....Good otherwise......FUCK NO
