A classic example of overdoing it. Far too many filmmakers try to be, y'know, THE ULTIMATE EXPERIENCE IN TERROR and end up making stuff that's just way too gory and unpleasant. Hell, I LOVE horror films, but this is one of the many I just can't stand for that very reason
