Apparently Alfred Hitchcock was supposed to direct this. Good thing he didn't. Not his sort of material. Lighthearted musical with a slight dramatic touch. Nothing more then a rare screen showcase for singer Violet Loraine with a little assistance from Gordon Harker in between the many songs. And there was little replacement-director Maurice Elvey can do to make this material memorable.
