Slice of life in RJ both in Copacabana beach and around/inside Maracana stadium, a city where people coming from every social class -- rich white playboys, kids that sell peanuts and steal to survive, people living in the favelas and facing everyday problems (like debts with a portuguese fella or a bohemian husband) and finally the theater where dreams die and come true at the same time, Maracana. It ends by celebrating RJ with samba, dancing, singing. Such a crime that this film was forbidden.
