Ricky Gervais Live: Animals

Solid standup set, and the bit about gay animals is very funny, despite being really, really juvenile. Gervais' comic timing is impeccable.

Bible chapter 1-3 and homosexual animals parts were hilarious, but more than half of the thing was too obvious for Gervais kinda humor.

He has great points, I didn't expect this but unfortunately, Ricky Gervais is not my type of showman. I respect his style yet I didn't like it much.

I hate his face so much, but that book about 'bent' animals make laugh to tears. Also, I found him hard to understand at the times, and there are no subtitles for this show.

Unusual and original spin on stand-up, but I generally prefer Ricky in a sitcom setting.

At times Ricky Gervais has the confident bite and sharp wit of a great comedian while conversely he can deliver opinions with the ironic grin of a self-righteous git.

Great stand-up. Some parts weren't as good as others. But it's really really funny

Some of it crosses some lines for me on the religious front- but there are some laugh out loud moments throughout.

By far the stongest of Gervais' original run of stand-up shows.

Ricky Gervais is a hilarious, hilarious man. I actually like his stand-up better than his performance in The Office, and that's saying a lot. Very few stand up acts stand out to me, actually, but Gervais is one of them.
