One of those pictures where Brits pretend to be gangsters and do dreadful attempts at sounding American. A real cheap thrill with awful editing/pacing. I guess the musical numbers were its saving grace, and I found the crime-musical hybrid such a wonderfully terrible idea that I got some enjoyment out of it. But all for the wrong reasons.
