iamianiman basically summed it up but to elaborate, it's put together competently on a technical level, and it has all the potential in the world, but the central mystery is not compelling. The worst part is that there's almost no real drama. It's not tense, and it isn't going anywhere. You sit and you wait for something bigger to happen and then when it's just about there, it pulls back. More than once. Baffling storytelling choices. Too competently made to be abject shit but not recommended.
