Revolutionsbryllup

Danish costume drama about a wedding happening in the privileged class with the emergence of the revolution. The French one. And the most striking aspect of this August Blom film is the costumes and settings! They really went into extraordinary detail for authenticity. The film started quite well too, helped by the shining images. Didn't continue with the same excitement, but it had it's sacrificial melodrama thing going which kept it afloat. A fairly impressive production for it's time.
