Revenge

Rare example of British exploitation; it starts as a vigilante / suspense thriller, but reaches surprisingly sleazy levels. Main actors do solid work as does Joan Collins. Her role is smaller at first but gets bigger as the film progresses. It mainly takes place at a house/pub and it’s basement and it gets a bit stuffy, but that fits the claustrophobic atmosphere. The ending is effective although a bit predictable and forgets most characters. Could have been a gem with more polished script.
