Return to a Better Tomorrow

Inappropriate title aside, it's not a bad film. Clear mimicry of John Woo which doesn't quite work. It's still somewhat better than the flood of similar heroic bloodshed flicks of the period. I liked the story, however if Jing Wong had embraced his own style instead of trying to match Woo, I think he would have been able to give it much more life.
