Requital

While certainly not boring (this film is chock-full of graphic violence, rapes, and vicariously random slayings), there is not much going on as far as characterization and story are concerned. If anything, the 'plot' seems to be a framework to pile on as many Godfather trilogy references as possible, and this is not lifting in the positive sense of the word. (Spoiler: when the main character rapes the good girl half an hour into a film, it's really hard to care about him for the remainder.)
