Repossessed

Given its premise (an Airplane!-style spoof of The Exorcist), along with the game performances from Blair and Nielsen, this should have been a lot better. It manages to eke out a few chuckles here and there, but it's mostly tedious and unfunny.

I will throw everything I have at this wall and by god maybe one will stick. Blessedly short at barely 80 minutes and what is this a gilded entry into the tome of PG boobs.

I love the Engrish blurb Criticker used for this movie. I could read all day, makes me laugh certainly.

Wow, the write-up for the movie is actually funnier than the movie. Surprisingly this spoof is lost in the greatness which is Naked Gun, but Repossessed retains a certain charm.

(Viewed on 21/01/11): Despite Nielsen's popularity and the release of Exorcist III a month earlier, Repossessed got a limited theatrical run and was then dumped on video. The reason? It's bad. Blair is clearly enjoying herself, and perhaps the experience was carthatic, but Logan is such a clueless dolt that her efforts are wasted. Nielsen fares slightly better as Mayii because he is the high priest of this kind of comedy, but even he can't transform these turds (i.e. gags) into gold nuggets.

Irritating is just the right word for this. Nielsen is better than this.

This was somehow less annoying and a bit more entertaining than most other 90's spoof movies. Still a waste of the considerable talents of Leslie Nielsen and Linda Blair.

I think this movie is pretty amusing but it has a lot of gags that just aren't funny at all.
