I like the show, but the movie just didn't do it for me. The funniest bits, save one in the beginning, were all in the trailer or felt recycled from the show. Only large fans of the show need watch.

Some truly inspired scenes of manic comic genius, mixed in with some over-the-top crude stupidity, and a handful of golden cameos. There are lulls in most 22min episodes of the show, so a few lulls in the film are to be expected. When it hits though, I laughed til it hurt. Paul Rudd's Scarface-inspired drug dealer is among the genius stuff, as is Patton Oswalt's turn, and a great scene at the beginning with The Rock. Anyone with an interest in the show will surely be entertained by this.

Reno 911!: Miami is an absolute party of a movie. It of course has the wacky, over the top, and stupid humor of the show, but in this film, it's condensed into a cameo-filled, mega gut-buster. If you don't find the show funny, the movie will probably not change your mind, but if the show has ever even made you chuckle, the movie is worth seeing. Meh!

Passable assemblage of silly, low-brow gags resembles POLICE ACADEMY in many ways (even if it makes POLICE ACADEMY look positively Shakespearean in its sophistication). Likable enough performances help this putter along, and it occasionally gets a supercharge from its “guest stars” (especially DeVito’s opening scene which is basically the movie’s highlight).

A cute companion for the series, you'll proportionally enjoy the movie the same as you enjoy the tv show. Scored lower than I'd score the show because it doesn't really have the legs to support a movie, but just expect an extra long episode and you're expectations won't be that outta whack. Niecy and Wendi steal their scenes, and Paul Rudd diarrheas all over his. Fuck off and die Paul Rudd.

I have never seen the TV show this movie is based on. There are a few funny moments scattered throughout the movie. Overall I would say this is an average comedy, there are a lot funnier films out there than this one.

Was disappointed to see a rehashing of some of the same gags and dialogue from the series. Would like to have seen more fun but it was a good time either way! :D

It's fun in places, and appearances by Paul Rudd, The Rock, and Patton Oswalt are among the best parts, but there's not much here unless you like the show. Worth it if you're a fan of the show, since it's really just an episode padded out to feature length.

Terrible, terrible movie. Jokes are not funny, acting is, well I do not know who put them in front of camera. And story, o my God. Is it possible that somebody actually thought it would be good idea to ever film this?!

It is an extended episode and your enjoyment will depend on how well you like the characters. Overall i enjoyed it. The many cameos make it memorable

Sporadically funny, but quite unnecessary considering the series' niche status.

Works much much better in an episodic format. This is poor.

An absolutely awful movie, and this coming from someone who loved the television show (up until around season 4 or 5 when it turned to shit). There's enough funny material here for about one full episode stretched out and padded to 90 minutes. This may as well have been the nail in the show's coffin.

Not having seen the show I don't really know much about it. The movie made me laugh because it was so stupid, but it was also charming in a strange way. It's by no means a good movie, but it's kinda like what Police Academy would be if it were better.

This was such a disappointment since it strayed way too far from its television counterpart, which I love.

This transfer of one of my favorite comedy shows is commendable but leaves much to be desired. The show's power derives almost entirely from its spontaneity, and much of the film is not improvised. In one instance, a monologue is recycled verbatim from the TV pilot. Despite this, the laughs are frequent and the cinematography is solid.

It was silly, and I didn't hate it. There were a few really funny scenes, and a few that went too long for their own good. The Hollywoodish moments (where the film feels too much like a standard movie) are the worst ones.

Fans of the series will find a lot to like here (especially since it's now off the air). The humor is pretty low brow with many more hits than misses. Worth a watch for the Rock's cameo alone.

The movie is about on par with a lackluster episode of the television series. Most episodes achieve more than this entire movie, narratively and comedically.

Despite its gaping holes of humorlessness, Reno 911!: Miami is still funnier than the rest of the schlock you'll see this early in the year.
