Rembrandt Laughing

A typical Jostian narrative form that is rather beautifully inflected with experimental techniques. It never amounts to anything metaphorical, expressly intellectual, or opaque, which I think is a laudable achievement. I mean, Jost is hardly what you'd call 'accessible', even for most cineastes, but the seamless combination of poetic circularity and narrative linearity are, at the very least, evidence of their mutual relevance and applicability to one another: a healthy instruction.
